“It was a real honour to be the first clients of Tierney’s Fine Dining for a 50th birthday celebration. You would never guess that ours was his first endeavour. Of course, the food was excellent, as we had hoped for, but also the overall service that was provided was supreme with fantastic attention to detail. This included an exploratory meeting to see the venue and to discuss potential menu options. Andy designed a lovely menu and was very happy to tinker with it in liaison with us in the run-up to the event. On the day, Andy and his team took care of absolutely everything, preparing delicious food, serving it very professionally, and cleaning up our kitchen to leave it better than they found it!
As for the food, we were served a wide range of canapés followed by a full sit down menu consisting of a mushroom tortellini starter, a slow-cooked pork belly and pork tenderloin main course, followed by a peach tarte tatin dessert, all of which were most definitely restaurant quality.
Overall, as an experience, it was unforgettable. Andy and his team did an amazing job, working incredibly hard to give us a wonderful day. I couldn’t recommend his service more highly. Thanks so much Andy, and team.”

“As we arrived at the party, we were able to glimpse the chefs of Tierney’s fine dining hard at work.
Quiet serenity, all in matching livery, chopping, stirring and cooking, yet still able to greet the guests.
Shortly after the first drinks were poured, the canapés started to emerge.
Beautifully presented, elegant and delicious.
Some hot with a hint of spice, some delightfully chilled.
Little taste explosions. The beetroot smoked salmon and the spicy crockets were my favourites.
Once at the dining table the main courses flowed seamlessly.
First a sensational mushroom ravioli in a broth.
Then a melt in the mouth pork belly, with crackling to die for.
And a sumptuous peach tarte tatin and homemade ice-cream.
Then cheese and finally delectable petit fours.
We were a large number but the service all came quickly and efficiently.
Everything was cleaned away before we even got to the after dinner drinks.
Had we not been told this was his first professional engagement, we would have assumed Andy had been at it for years.
I hope to get a chance to try his cuisine again soon.

I have been lucky enough to have Andy cook for me twice now in my home over the festive season. Both times the food was outstanding.
I had a meeting with Andy before both events where he took down ideas of foods we like, dislike and any allergies. He then went away and prepared the perfect menu for us. My guest’s are still talking about how delicious the food was. It really was a wonderful experience and it was lovely that I didn’t have to cook.
Andy’s team, work hard to make sure the night goes smoothly which it did.
